Located approximately 40 miles from Central London, our Reading venue is an ideal location for health and safety training courses for those living in West London or surrounding towns and want to avoid the hassle of travelling into the capital.
Here at ATC Risk Management, we originally ran health and safety courses in Central London near St Pauls Cathedral, but the lack of car parking and packed public transport in the morning and evening rush hour proved an inconvenience for many.
Consequently, we decided to move our training courses out to the i2 office at Green Park. This modern training venue is situated near the Madejski Stadium, close to the M4 motorway, and has an abundance of free all-day car parking. Not only is this far more convenient for the majority of our course delegates who travel by car, but can also save them quite a bit of money by not having to pay all-day London car parking charges for each day they attend a course.
For example, those attending a NEBOSH General Certificate classroom course which is ten days of teaching may have had to pay something like £20 a day to park their car in a public car park in London, which would add a staggering £200 onto the price of the course effectively! With our new Reading venue, the free car parking is something which those travelling by road will surely celebrate.
Along with those people travelling from London, providing health and safety courses in Reading also makes things easier for individuals from the many surrounding towns including Oxford, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Woking, Guildford and Maidenhead to name just a few... Not to mention Reading itself of course!
Not all of our health and safety courses and qualifications are scheduled as open courses in Reading, but our most popular ones are. These currently include the NEBOSH General Certificate, the NEBOSH Fire Certificate, the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate, and a number of CITB construction health and safety courses including the Site Managers SMSTS, Site Supervisors SSSTS, the SMSTS and SSSTS Refresher courses, and the 1-day Health and Safety Awareness course which at present is one of the requirements along with the touchscreen test for acquiring the Green Labourer's Card to work on a construction/building site.
