Risk Assessment

Our Risk Assessment course is aimed at anyone with specific responsibility for risk assessments, and will also be beneficial for anyone involved in the risk assessment or risk management process. Typical delegates include supervisors, managers, directors and safety representatives.

The course is designed to give those with risk assessment responsibility a sound footing in the process of risk assessment. We introduce delegates to the relevant legal framework and current HSE recommended best practice.

As part of the course, delegates will complete sample risk assessments and participate in group work. In addition, delegates will be introduced to the Approved Code of Practice for the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations.

Course Material

Each delegate on the Risk Assessment course will be issued with a workbook to assist them both during and after the course. This workbook will contain information and forms to assist risk assessors. The course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.

Course Tutor

Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced professionals with an appropriate background in this topic and in delivering engaging health and safety training. All consultants hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Course Duration

The Risk Assessment course will be delivered over one day.

Certification

Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course.
