The IOSH Directing Safely course is intended for directors and executive managers in small to medium-sized organisations who wish to raise their awareness of health and safety legislation. The IOSH Directing Safely course also covers documentation and procedures required, with particular relevance to existing company procedures and health and safety policy.

The IOSH Directing Safely course is valid for directors and executive managers across all sectors and industries, but is focussed on small to medium sized organisations. For larger enterprises, with more than approximately 250 employees, the IOSH Safety for Senior Executives course will be more suitable.

IOSH Directing Safely Course Tutors

Our IOSH Directing Safely course tutors are experienced professionals with an appropriate background in risk management. All tutors hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

IOSH Directing Safely Assessment

At the end of the IOSH Directing Safely course, delegates are required to undertake a multiple choice assessment and short project. Those who successfully complete the assessments at the end of the course are awarded the official IOSH Directing Safely Certificate.
