Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) - Refresher Course
The 1-day Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher course is for those who have already passed the full 2-day Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course within the last five years and can provide proof of attendance. The SSSTS Refresher course aims to bring the delegate's health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace.
After completing the SSSTS Refresher course, delegates should be able to:
Who Should Attend?
Only those delegates who have passed the two-day Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course and can provide evidence of this are eligible to attend the one-day refresher course. Delegates must have passed the full SSSTS within five years of their refresher course to be eligible.
SSSTS Refresher Course Tutors
Our SSSTS Refresher course tutors are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals with an appropriate background in construction site health and safety. All tutors hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and are registered CITB Construction Skills trainers.
The course will be delivered over one day.
SSSTS Refresher Course Assessment and Certification
At the conclusion of the SSSTS Refresher course, delegates are required to undertake a short multiple choice assessment. Those who successfully complete the assessment are awarded the CITB/Construction Skills Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher Certificate.
