Anyone who wants a formal qualification in training - in particular those working in the FE sector or those delivering accredited qualifications and courses. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification; however, there is a written assignment to be completed. This will involve reading the supplied reference books, researching specific topics, applying theory to practical scenarios and demonstrating knowledge and understanding through written work. Therefore, candidates for this course should have a good standard of written and verbal communications skills.

    Course Material

Each delegate will be issued with a workbook and official PTLLS study book to assist them both during and after the course, which will contain information, guidance and forms. The course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.

Our learning and development consultants are qualified and experienced training professionals with a background in supporting new and experienced trainers.

    Duration

The course will be delivered over four days.

Delegates will be awarded a City and Guilds 7303 Certificate in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) upon successful completion of the course. To complete the course, delegates must complete a written assignment and deliver a 30 minute teaching session, which will be observed by other members of the course and assessed by the course tutor.
